Futures Insurance Upgrade｜System Upgrade Announcement

Websea will perform a scheduled system upgrade on December 8, 2025, at 06:00 (UTC). The maintenance is expected to last approximately 3 hours.

This update brings significant improvements to the Futures Insurance module, alongside enhancements to Spot and Futures trading pair support, further strengthening overall system stability and trading experience.

 

1. Futures Insurance Module Upgrade

• Enhanced Automated Risk Control: Our risk-control engine has been upgraded to more accurately detect and prevent abusive behaviors, such as artificial node farming, ensuring a fair and secure insurance environment for all users.
• Improved On-Page Insurance Indicators: Insurance-related reminders and status indicators have been added across relevant trading and asset pages, enabling users to monitor their coverage status and protection scope in real time.
• Upgraded Referral Mechanism: The referral system has been refined with the new “Referral Boost for Lower Premiums” feature. Users can now lower their own premiums and unlock additional rewards by inviting friends to join Futures Insurance.
• Expanded Risk-Control Framework: Newly introduced risk-control rules such as Tiered Premium Risk Controls and Pending Reward Cycle Reset Controls are being introduced to further protect the integrity of the insurance pool. To maintain fairness and safeguard genuine users, stricter controls will be enforced against abusive node-farming behavior.
• Launch of Tiered Premium Mechanism: Insurance premium rates will now adjust based on node count ranges, offering users more flexible and transparent risk-management options.
• Optimized Insurance Node Cycle Rules: The freeze period for insurance nodes has been reduced to 10 days (previously 15 days), and the expiration period has been shortened to 20 days (previously 30 days), enabling faster access and utilization.
   

2. Standard Copy Trading Module Optimization

• Trader Application Page Improvements: Added Telegram contact display and backend field support to improve communication efficiency and streamline trader management workflows.
   

3. Spot & Futures Module Enhancements

• Trading Pair Expansion: Both Spot and Futures modules now fully support Chinese-named trading pairs, offering users an expanded set of trading options.
