Dear Webseans,
Thank you for your continued attention to and engagement with Websea’s Futures Insurance mechanism. In response to recent community feedback regarding adjustments to Futures Insurance node rules and the handling of certain non-compliant accounts, we would like to provide an update on the latest progress, along with an overview of our subsequent risk-control measures and product optimization plans.
Update on the Handling of Abnormal Nodes from Non-Compliant Accounts
With respect to the improper acquisition of Futures Insurance nodes referenced in our previous announcement, the platform completed the identification and freezing of all abnormal nodes associated with the relevant accounts by 16:00 on December 13, 2025 (UTC).
We hereby clarify the following:
- This action was a one-time calibration, targeting historical abnormal nodes only;
- The handling process has now been fully completed, and no further freezing actions will be taken on existing nodes;
- Frozen nodes will not become invalid. Users may gradually unfreeze these nodes and restore subsequent airdrop eligibility by generating compliant nodes in accordance with the applicable unfreezing rules.
Please refer to the status displayed in the app under My Nodes → Abnormal Freeze. The platform will not conduct any additional retroactive reviews or impose further measures beyond those already implemented.
Future Risk-Control Measures and Product Optimization
Futures Insurance is designed to hedge and protect against genuine trading risks. Based on community feedback and internal system assessments, Websea will further refine its risk-control strategy and product mechanisms as follows:
- For accounts exhibiting clearly abnormal trading patterns, risk management will be implemented through measures such as adjustments to insurance premium rates;
- The platform will continue to upgrade and optimize product rules based on community feedback, ensuring fair protection of all users’ rights within the Futures Insurance framework.
These measures are intended to support the long-term, stable operation of the Futures Insurance mechanism and to further enhance the overall user experience.
As an industry-first innovation introduced by Websea, Futures Insurance must continue to evolve in response to market developments and emerging challenges. The platform remains committed to actively listening to constructive community feedback, integrating best practices, and delivering a more robust, balanced, and sustainable product model to users who continue to support Websea. If you have any questions regarding this announcement, please contact our online customer support team for assistance.
Thank you again for your understanding and support.
