An authenticator app is crucial for protecting your account and digital assets. Even if someone obtains your password, they would still need access to the authenticator app to operate your account, making unauthorized access much harder. You can link an authenticator app in the Websea app to safeguard your account and assets.
Step 1: Search for Google Authenticator in your app store. Once downloaded, open the app.
Step 2:
Open the Websea app and tap the icon in the top-left corner to access your profile. Then go to Security Settings → Google Authenticator.
Step 3:
Tap Bind Google Authenticator, then enter the email verification code.
Step 4:
In Google Authenticator, tap the + in the top-right corner, select Enter a setup key, and enter your key along with account name.
Step 5:
Switch back to the Websea app, enter the Google Authenticator code you just copied (if it has expired, return to Google Authenticator to get a new one), and tap Confirm to complete the setup.
Step 6:
Next time you log in to Websea, select Google Authenticator for two-factor authentication. Enter the code and tap Verify to complete the login.
